"Die Bahn" is providing the "Ostseeticket" from 39€ for up to 5

UPDATE: special G8 ticket
There is a special ticket valid from 02. to 09. june 2007 in the VVW
network (Rostock and environment), price: 15,00 Euro. The ticket is sold in all official sales places from the transport companies in question as well as in busses and in the DB Regio.
The Hedonists will have an own barrio at the Camp Rostock. You
can stay there overnight, chat with us and start together with us to the
G8 Open Air after the demo. You find all the information on the official English webpage.
A mail over a list has warned that ATMs in Rostock will not work during the G8. Please bring all the money you need for you staying in cash!
The government will try to give us a hard time on the site. This means e.g. that
cellphones will not work and it will be hard to go by car. Buy cheap
walkie-talkies for communication. Because off the crowded and shortened
public transport it is highly recommended to take a bike with you.
In addition a good camping equipment is advantageous. Although plenty of
work will be done to organise a good infrastructure with
toilets, showers, canteens etc., it will only turn out on the site how the camps are equipped. We would ask you to transfer your fee in advance (English webpage) because the camps have financial problems. Donations of any kind are welcome.
